DESCRIPTION All species have a flag which can be set to FALSE or TRUE. All species with the flag set to TRUE are called marked species. Normally this flag is used to specify a subgroup of species for editors, tree building programs ... EXAMPLES Mark queried species: 1. Select 'Search' from the ARB main window 2. Perform a search 3. Use 'Mark Listed Unmark Rest' to mark all queried species Mark selected species: 1. Select a species (in tree, editor, search result etc.; see LINK{selected.hlp}) 2. Open the LINK{sp_info.hlp} 3. Check the 'Marked?' toggle. Mark all species in selected tree or subtree: - via menu: 1. Unmark all species: 2. - using the mouse in tree display: 1. Select the 2. Press the left mouse button - somewhere outside the tree to mark the whole tree, or - at a subtree to mark only the subtree. - using the keyboard in tree display: Use any of the keyboard shortcuts defined for the tree display (see LINK{nt_keys.hlp}).
